Line-up

Turn Back, the band's third studio album is a return to a classic sextet structure and it was a more consistent, more powerful effort with a harder edge. Its edgier sound was a reflection of the maturation of the group and featured drummer Bobby Kimball's improved proficiency on the drums, as well as an improved, mature vocal delivery by singer Joseph Williams.
