UPVC Window Repairs

Cracks

Next, measure the spindle that protrudes from the underside of your handle. You can order an replacement or take it to a hardware shop for matching. Then, take out the setscrew that was on the shaft of the operator and file it flat so the set screw is able to secure itself to the shaft (photo). Then, your uPVC windows should be closing without a hitch.

Broken Hinges

There will be a problem opening or closing your uPVC windows in the event that the hinges are damaged or not working properly.
