Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat

The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single to double stroller with the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be converted to create a triple-travel system by adding the bench seat or an infant car seat. It has 24 options and is a top stroller overall. This model is made with Baby Jogger’s soft, breathable and sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They help regulate temperature. It comes with a premium leatherette handlebar as well as a bumper bar and comes with an abdominal bar. It folds 20% smaller than the market-leading single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby Vista V2, and is also lighter.

It features a medium-sized shade and a magnetic peek-aboo window, which is easy to close or open. The telescoping handlebar is among of the simplest to adjust and is suitable for parents of all sizes. The seats recline, and there is an adjustment button for the footwell to assist you in positioning your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin has plenty of room, but we would have preferred an easier latch. The bin is easy to open, however the zippers are a bit frustrating because they have to be removed and put back in place after every use.

The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breakers that are easy to set up and release by pulling a lever located on the frame side lower than the handlebar. It's sandal and barefoot-friendly and is a step up from the awkward toe-pinch brake levers that many of the other models use.

This is the only stroller in our review that accepts two infant car seats making it an ideal option for twins or for parents with a single child and a new baby on the way. It can fit the majority of infant car seats from major brands using an adapter. We tested it with the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models as well as the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.

The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is a good option for families who already own a car seat but need a stroller that can accommodate it. However, you might prefer a convertible stroller in this case.
