Each Space Key contains a block composed of carbon-fired composite material. It was sent to the International Space Station as part of a 2019 research program. After returning to Earth it was stamped with the QR code which links it to the digital component of the Space Key.

Each of the five Space Keys will feature a separate moment that occurs a few seconds apart as the Lamborghini Ultimae lifts off toward the stars. Over 600 million pixels each of the five images, that were taken by photographer Fabian Oefner.

Oefner used a balloon with a camera to take each of the individual shots which were then merged into the final image. The result is a picture that is completely out of the world. It captures both the beauty of Earth and the futuristic, hyperrealistic look of a car rising from the Earth. The Space Keys will be auctioned off soon, but the exact date and location of the event hasn't been set yet.
