It was able in our tests, to negotiate a variety of household obstacles and avoid getting stuck. It also avoided chewing cords or shoes as did previous models. It even gave pet waste a wide berth (although it did get caught up in baseball caps and socks). It also excelled at removing larger spills and crumbs.

This robot is able to mop and vacuum according to a set schedule, which is perfect if you prefer mopping your floors. It was a success in cleaning all surfaces in our home with mostly hardwood floors and a few area rug. The mops took longer than we'd like, however it still left the floor surprisingly clean.

It is also able to climb on high-pile flooring, but it may struggle to remove fine debris. It also has issues with pet hair on this kind of flooring however it's much better than other competitors.

2. iRobot Roomba j9 Combo Plus

The J9 Combo Plus robot is the most advanced Roomba. It offers a combination of mopping and vacuuming and is compatible with carpets and comes with iRobot's smartest features. You can also access advanced settings, like the ability to alter your suction power and more.

3. iRobot DreameBot

The iRobot DreameBot mopping robot is one of only a few smart sweepers that also mop. The Q5 Pro is part of Roborock's mid-range range and is just below the S8 series. The device utilizes PreciSense LiDAR to navigate through your home with ease and a DuoRoller brush to scrub away dried-on stains while cleaning. It comes with a larger dustbin onboard, 770 ml, and an automatic-emptying docking system that reduces maintenance tasks.

It has 5,500 psi of suction power as well as a dual rubber roller brush that can pull pet hair and dirt from carpets without getting tangled up. It can also be controlled via the Roborock app, which offers several other helpful features like setting digital keep-out zones rapid cleaning mode, and changing the cleaning patterns.
