We were impressed by the speed and effectiveness of the frothing process, as well. It also makes an amazing espresso with a great crema and full flavor despite its compact size.

The BCC02 is an excellent all-rounder that's quiet, efficient and provides great value for money at its current price of PS499. Its only real flaw is that it doesn't provide the same level of customisation like other bean to cup coffee brewer-to-cup machines we have tested. It has a pump that is 15 bars instead of the standard 19 bars. This isn't as effective for making high-quality espressos. 2. Melitta Barista TS Smart

The Barista TS Smart is a fantastic bean-to-cup machine with numerous features that make it stand above the rest. Its most distinctive feature could be the fact that it is able to be controlled via your smartphone using the Melitta Connect App. This lets you change the settings and then dispense different coffee recipes stored in the machine.

This makes the machine extremely flexible and able to adapt to your preferences. There are a variety of ways to alter the strength of your drink, cup sizes and even whether you want milk to be added. The machine comes with two airtight containers of beans that are automatically chosen to suit different specialities. It is set to standard espresso beans in one and cafe cream (a German variation of long black or flat white) in the other, but you can choose whatever beans you like. There's also a handy chute for pre-ground coffee in case you'd prefer to make your own (for example, if that pesky dinner guest brings their own).

Users have also said they are impressed with the speed of the machine. They have reported that it is able to make their drinks much faster than other machines they have used.
