The ideal robot vacuum for dog hair vacuum cleaner for pet hair should have a powerful suction, and brushes that won't tangle hair of pets. It should also come with an intelligent app and the ability to create no-go zones.

In my tests in my tests, the iRobot J7+ got top marks for picking up hair from dogs and cats on hardwood flooring. It also has an obstacle avoidance feature that can be used to detect cords and socks.

1. Eufy RoboVac G30

A relative newcomer to the robot vacuum market, Eufy has gotten good reviews for its slim designs that scoot under low furniture. The G30 is slightly bigger than the 11S model however, it is still extremely thin. It comes with a more powerful suction and mopping features inside a box that is less than 3 inches high. It also has a charging base nook that keeps the charging base out of sight when it's not in use.

The Neato D9 robot vacuum cleaner comes with a bigger brush and a larger dust bin. It also has smart LIDAR mapping to clear corners efficiently. It has sensors built-in as well as a docking station that performs charging functions.

The D9 is an upgrade from the D8 which has twice the runtime and improved mapping. It also has a multi-surface brush that's more advanced and a high-performance filtration system that can capture smaller particles, like pet fur and hair, than standard filters.

In our lab tests carpets and hard flooring performed well. It also had the longest battery life, which let it to cover a large home before requiring a recharge. The D9 does not have a remote control, but it can be operated manually by pressing the power button or via the MyNeato App (available on Android and iOS) or by using voice commands via Alexa or Google Assistant.

The D9's LIDAR onboard can help the robot map and clean your home in a logical manner that doesn't encounter obstacles. This can help it to clean more thoroughly. It was capable of cleaning pet hair and other particles off unfinished floors, but it had trouble with high-pile, thick carpeting and rug.

4. Deebot X2 Omni

Ecovacs' X2 Omni robot vacuum and mop is not the most recent model, but it is still a great choice to clean pet hair. The X2 Omni is designed to clean both carpets and floors with rotating washing pads soaked with hot water at 131 degrees that help the mop get rid of pet hair and dirt. This is a unique feature other robots don't have, and helps the Deebot distinguish itself from the competition.

The robot is also adept at avoiding obstructions. It was able to stay clear of furniture legs, pet toys and even poop when tested. The X2 Omni's built-in camera tracks its obstacles and avoidance, allowing you to enjoy hands-free entertainment.
