Ashley Williams has claimed Everton team-mate Seamus Coleman is one of the best players he has played with before the duo go head-to-head as Wales take on the Republic of Ireland.

Wales' Williams admits taking on Ireland's Coleman will be a challenge when the Toffees defenders - who captain their respective nations -  face each other in Friday's World Cup qualifier.

'He's unbelievable, one of the best players I've ever played with,' said Williams, speaking in an interview with Dafabet, Everton and Wales' online and betting company partner.

Williams admits the pair have been winding each other up ahead of the international match but insists both players will be fully focused.

'We've had a little bit of banter already over the breakfast table! Normally we're on the same team but now we're coming up against each other, it'll be fun,' said the 32-year-old.

'He's very professional Seamus and he's always fully focused. It's an important game for both of us, we both need to win.

'It'll be a difficult game so, like he will be, I'll be fully focused on that night.'

Wales captain Williams also discussed the proud moment of leading Wales to the Euro 2016 semi-finals last summer and said of representing the country: 'It's a feeling of pride to be at the front of the line and singing the national anthem with all the fans and your family in the stands.

'We've had a taste of what a major tournament feels like and we all enjoyed it. Getting to the World Cup would be a major 다파벳주소 achievement - it's something we could celebrate with our fans and hopefully take our brand of football around the world.'
